You can easily make a cardboard loom on which to weave these dolls. It is better to use a thicker yarn, but if not, no problem - as we do - doubled, maybe even triple the fibers in the yarn.
You need a thick rectangular piece of cardboard. Tuck the ends with scissors and cut 4 slits on both sides.
So on a cut, curl base - yarn or string.
Begin to weave and spend yarn alternately above and below in the base.
After each color tie firmly in the previous thread.
To make the legs - start winding on only two of the warp yarns. So get one leg.
For the second leg, put a new thread again and spend only on the other two threads of the base. Finally tie well to not unravel dwarf.
To make your hands - put extra thread on both sides and tie a knot.
When you're ready - cut back the base and firmly tie together the threads.
