Materials:
Popsicle sticks, 14 units for each piece performed.
Universal glue.
Scissors can be mini-around.
Coffee, tea or paint wood finish.
Cotton or brush.
Wood Waterproofing spray (optional).
One detail that I want to comment on materials is the point of "coffee, tea or paint wood finish." To make this idea I chose to use coffee, but you can use coffee or have a paint with a wood finish you can use it.
The first step will give a tone to the ice cream sticks. We dye them one by one and on both sides. It is important to let them dry well before starting to assemble the mini pallets. As you can see to do this step with patience and careful not to apply too much liquid on the popsicle stick to not warp as it dries.
The staining going one on one side, the left on a napkin and within minutes we deal across the popsicle sticks.
When they have already dried it is time to move on to the next case. We cut the rounded ends of the popsicle sticks. For this task we can use scissors or even a mini-around if you have one. Keep in mind that cutting verify there are no small chips. If so, they can use a small piece of fine sandpaper to finish them.
Cut the tips of all the sticks and we can start building our mini pallet.
First step: put 4 popsicle sticks that will be the basis of our mini pallet.
On these sticks, we stick with universal glue three of oppositely or perpendicular. Started by paste them in the two central sticks.
Then stick the two remaining ends and we will be a piece that looks like it's longer then the pallet
We hope that the universal pegameno dries out well and have good strong sticks that stick and can assemble the top. We take three more sticks and stick one in the center and one at each end of the mini pallet.
Then we distribute the remaining sticks in the gaps so that they are at the same distance from each other and our mini pallet ready.
It's good to place a small book or diary on this while waiting for the glue to
dry well and are ready for use.
