Oil lamp decorated with plant

The days get shorter and the nights getting longer, require light to illuminate our homes. In light of these lamps that I'll show to prepare winter evenings will be more cozy and warm. With a budget but with great imagination we can make some beautiful oil lamps very decorative.

To make these beautiful oil lamps need the following materials:

A jar with metal lid and screw flat.
Paraffin oil without smoke or odor.
Fiberglass wick.
A wick support of glass or metal.
Drill.

Decoration: pine cones, leaves, berries, flowers, lichen, moss ...

Wash and completely dry it some jars which we use for canning or storing kitchen products. It is imperative that the lid is metal, its surface is flat and screw shut. We introduce the decorative elements of our choice within the jar making sure to leave a hole in the center where wick insertion, place them at will, in the way that we look more decorative.

Then drilled a hole in the center of the lid of the jar, we will use a drill the same size as the wick holder that we will use. Limaremos any remaining burrs around the drilled hole. The wick to pass through the bracket and threading it into the can lid. We fill the jar and decorated with paraffin oil and introduce the wick making sure it is in the center of the boat. Threading the cap and we have a small oil lamp to be turned on and illuminate and decorate our home.
